late night philosophical quests over rum and whiskey with Miguel Angel Jimenez
new friends from England, Germany and Switzerland
a stiff lower back that couldn’t spoil the fun
a bad hoodoo hitting the driver shafts of the press team (3 off within one morning)
a first match day under a blazing November Sun on the Hills Course spent with the Spaniard masters, and
a following day trying to survive the fierce crosswinds over the International Olympic Academy Course and mitigate TP5x losses to a single sleeve.
All that, topped with blasphemous taste pairings at the round (prosecco with souvlaki and pasta) and courageous afternoon dives in the Ionian sea.
