On some early May Sunday, you wake up for a round of golf.
Your friends and goodie bags with an assortment of treats are waiting for you at the entrance. A 1st tee buffet to put similar attempts into shame, is set. The horn blows for the shotgun start. On the halfway island, a mosaic of smoking BBQs, burgers, sushi, cold beers and coffees are offered. Nine additional holes and it’s already afternoon. The cocktail party is set for 19:00 just before the dinner. The VW van suffers from a steady leakage of Athenian Spritz. Dinner is ready and live performances are on.
Can it get better than that? Indeed it can, if all these somehow contribute towards a good cause.
